Kinder Egg Drop

It's an annual tradition at Carson's school - The Kinder Egg Drop.  Each child designed a "container" for their egg, and then one by one they are dropped off a cherry picker at school.  It was quite the exciting event!  Lots of chanting kids ---"Higher! Higher! Higher!  to the VP, who took the eggs up in the cherry picker (class by class), and tossed them to the ground. We expected to have to help with the design, but Carson came up with his own idea, and we just had to buy him the supplies.  He said he wanted foam, but we settled for tile sponges.  He used four sponges and dug out a hole between the two center sponges to place his egg.  Success!  His egg survived and he got a certificate for his achievement.  Michael was able to be there too, and Carson was very excited to get a high five from dad.  We can't forget Maggie; she's always certain to get some attention from the girls in Carson's class :).
