Getting Ready for Christmas

It's December right? We're in shorts, it's 80 degrees, and the grasshoppers are still everywhere (look closely at his shirt.) He thought the bugs were so funny.

Who needs a car from Santa?? Not me, my box is the BEST!
Carson loves the Christmas tree, and he's touching it less and less every day :).
Carson loves all the light displays in our neighborhood, but I think Mickey is his favorite.

Carson's Turkey Day

We all got up EARLY and walked the 5K Turkey Trot as a family. Carson barely made it through the walk. He didn't want to ride in the stroller, and if he had walked on his own we would have been walking until dinner time. Dad carried him almost the whole way. He crashed right at the finish... Our "family dinner" Mmm turkey!

Boo at the Zoo with buddy Corinne Trick-or-Treat was a blast! Carson loved it and he even got a pretty good bag of candy for mom and dad :)!

Pumpkin Farm

We've been to the pumpkin farm twice this month; once with MOMs group and once as a family. Carson loved playing on the farm and picking out pumpkins. Here he is on the hayride after we picked our pumpkins. Carson is really into cars, trucks, and any kind of construction/farm equipment. This tractor was a huge hit! He didn't want to get down. Ride'm Cowboy! I think he's feeling right at home in Texas. Splashing around in the trough where they had rubber duck races.

Weeeeeeeeee!

Why my Mom loves Big Sur

More from Big Sur

Carson spent a day playing in the sand at Pfeiffer Beach. He loved sitting in the dirt playing with all the toys Aunt Julie brought for him. Dad is teaching him how to be a "safe" pyro.
And best of all, he's learning how to break down camp. Some day he'll be a big help, but for now we're just enjoying watching him learn to love the outdoors.

Camping in Big Sur

A week of fun, sun, and playing in the dirt! Carson went to Big Sur, CA for the first time. We had a great week with grandmas, grandpa, aunts, uncle, cousins, and friends. Carson was covered in dirt all week. Carson and Ricky sliding down the hill above our campsite. All the kids liked to play around this old tree. (Carson and Carli)
Carson playing near the Big Sur River.
Carson and Dad building "towers" to knock down. We took tons of pictures...more to come.
