Butterflies

We found two caterpillars and fed them until they changed into a chrysalis.  Our first butterfly emerged this weekend!  Carson was so excited to see them grow and turn into butterflies.

Megan's Birthday

Carson loves his babysitter Megan!  Happy Birthday Megan!

Ren Fest

Our first Ren Fest experience was a fun one!  Carson dressed the part and had fun shooting arrows, riding a few rides, watching the joust, and of course making friends with the ice cream wench.  Thank you Morgans, we had a fun day.  Those Ren Fest peeps are something else! :)  Millers, we will expect you and the little garden gnome in full costume next year  :).

Halloween

We had another fun Halloween trick-or-treating with friends.  Carson wanted to be a spooky skeleton, so we went for it and did full make-up!  He did pretty well sitting still while we put it on, but by the end of the night it was a hot mess!  Too bad I didn't take an AFTER picture. :)

Grandma Connie & Aunt Janis

Grandma Connie and Aunt Janis also came for a visit in October.  Grandma took us to meet some of her new river rafting friends at their annual fall party.  Carson had a blast!  It started out a little rough when he and dad did the egg toss; notice the pic of the egg just before facial impact.  Carson had a good cry, changed his shirt, and rebounded to do the 3-legged race with grandma.  He also hunted for treasure in the hay stack, took a hay ride, bobbed for apples, smacked the pinata, and more!  They had it all.  It was a very fun day!  For the rest of their visit we had fun hanging out, shopping, and getting ready for Halloween!

Rachel, Megan and Joseph

Our busy October started off with a visit from mom's best friend Rachel and her kids Megan and Joe.  Kids sure make our visits more complicated, huh Rach? ;)...lol!  We loved their visit and are glad they made the trip to spend some time with us.

Light The Night Walk

What an amazing night walking for Team Corinne and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!  Carson loved being able to hang out with sweet Corinne and his other friends.  He especially loved that the walk was at night!  Some day he'll understand how truly special it was.  Go Team Corinne!
