Strawberry Fields Forever

We went to a local farm with friends and picked a bucket-full of strawberries! Carson loved it, and would have picked them all afternoon if I'd let him. We've been eating strawberries all week. :)

Carson got a JOB!

We took these pictures after the Home Depot Kid's Workshop event a few weeks ago. We shopped and bought some soil, and Carson was ready to help load the bags and wheel the cart out to the car. By the way, this month he made a very cute wheel barrow planter for Mother's Day. Loved it!

It's Warming Up....

We've been visiting these fountains a lot lately, and soon it will be sprinkler parks and pools because the heat is on! Ugggghhh! Thank goodness we do have lots of places to cool off.

Fire Station Tour

We took a tour of the local fire station and had lots of fun. Carson thought it would be a good idea to bring his stuffed dalmations with us. When we got there, Lady (the firehouse dog) liked them a lot more than Carson bargained for. He wasn't upset, but he did want to get them back, and you can see him trying to talk with her about it.

Family Visit

Carson's aunt and uncle and cousins came to visit last month. Among the highlights were a trip to San Antonio, and probably by far, the Wild Animal Park where we had a close encounter with an ostrich and an emu.

Mommy almost lost her cookies!

I think we've mentioned that Carson rides in the stationary seats/benches on carousels, never the horses, and we still don't know why. Well, today we went on a carousel that had a spinning seat (think the Tea Cups at Disneyland). As you can see he loved it, and I kept spinning it for him since he seemed to like it so much....but that turned out to be a bad idea. Thankfully, those carousel rides never last that long. Phew!

Lunar Golf

A local mall has indoor mini golf under black lights, and we finally tried it out with the Miller gals. We did our best trying to keep them on the course, but they had more fun running around whacking golf balls in random directions. Jen and I likened it to herding cats. Still, lots of fun. :)
