Mommy almost lost her cookies!

I think we've mentioned that Carson rides in the stationary seats/benches on carousels, never the horses, and we still don't know why. Well, today we went on a carousel that had a spinning seat (think the Tea Cups at Disneyland). As you can see he loved it, and I kept spinning it for him since he seemed to like it so much....but that turned out to be a bad idea. Thankfully, those carousel rides never last that long. Phew!

Lunar Golf

A local mall has indoor mini golf under black lights, and we finally tried it out with the Miller gals. We did our best trying to keep them on the course, but they had more fun running around whacking golf balls in random directions. Jen and I likened it to herding cats. Still, lots of fun. :)

Lexie Turns 2!

We've had such a busy few weeks, that I missed this post. We went to Lexie's party a few weeks ago, and enjoyed her bug and critter theme. Lexie's mom made the cutest cake, and had all kinds on bug and critter activities for the kids. We even brought home live lady bugs that we released in our yard. Needless to say, Carson had such a good time! Sorry buddy, but if you are only going to make dorky faces, I'm posting them :).

Update....

Without getting too graphic, Sunday morning Carson alerted mommy that he had "to go." Now mind you, usually this means he has already gone, but THIS time he didn't mix up his past and present tense. Fast forward....he got the Bat Cave. As all parents know, this does not mean he hasn't had a relapse since then, but hey, we are moving in the right direction. Congrats to our little pooper. :) I know, file it under TMI if you must, but this is our life right now.

Happy Birthday Corinne!

We helped celebrate Corinne's 3rd birthday last week, and we all had a lot of fun! We went to pizza with the Millers and Dowtys on Corinne's actual birthday, and then headed to the Little Gym for her party over the weekend. Carson had a blast at both events, and we all enjoyed watching Corinne celebrate with her family and friends. We love the Millers and are glad we could be there to wish sweet Corinne a Happy Birthday.

1st Soccer Practice

Carson had his first soccer practice, he is really
looking forward to scoring a "real" goal, he says
he had 5 goals in practice. He is very good at
kicking (He gets a lot of practice when Unlce Tony
is here), he can actually dribble the soccer ball very well.
His first game is next Saturday so more pics to follow
in his first season!!

The Straight Poop

We've seen this method work for some of Carson's friends, so we've decided to implement the "poop present." Long story short, if Carson decides to do his business (#2 that is, cause he's got #1 almost down) on the potty then he earns the oh so awesome Bat Cave. So far, the Bat Cave has sat perched on the cabinets for 7 days...and still no serious action. We'll let you know when he decides to "bust a move", but for now he is content to hide under a table or in the corner and then inform us that he's already gone....ahhhh, so close.
